|In november 2005, I suggested on the Hauptwerk forum
that the samples of the Ghent Belfry Carillon (Belgium) which are freely downloadable
could be easily converted to a Hauptwerk
The website says : "Those of you with
a sampler at hand will be able to download every note on bimbam.be and compose
at home with real carillon sounds."
Well, I have done the job ! Just converted
the mp3 samples to *.wav format, without any modification, and wrote a disposition
file. The sound files are mono, but the quality is great !

1) On this carillon,we are very far from A 440, the tuning is shifted approximatively a sixth higher than normal.
2) There is a kind of short octave on this keyboard : the second key, normally attributed to C#1, is
replaced by A#0.
